Conditions of the Auction
Vehicles would be on view to the general public one day prior to each day of auction from 9.00 a.m. to 4.00 p.m.
Entrance on the days of auctions will be strictly by producing the National Identity Card or a valid proof of identity and by purchasing a non-refundable entrance ticket of Rs. 1,000/- per person on each day of auction.
Payment : 25% in Cash at the fall of the Hammer & Balance 75% in cash before 3.00p.m. on the same day of the auction and all vehicle/s & Scrap items purchased must be removed immediately after each auction.
In the event the prospective purchasers do not register the vehicle/s purchased in their names within a period of Six (6) months the Sri Lanka Police would not hold itself responsible and shall further hold the right to refuse to issue the documents related to the transfer of the vehicle/s.
The Director of Police Transport and the Auctioneer have the right to withdraw any vehicle/s without prior notice.
The decision of the Director of Police Transport and the Auctioneer will be final with regard to any matter arising at the auctions.
